Words from Rich

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Staff Update Changes – During the week of May 10, four individuals were interviewed for the position of Office Manager. This individual would replace Paige as Paige and Dave transition to serve through the ministry of Laborers for Christ. We are pleased to let you know that Laura Adams was offered and accepted the position of Office Manager. We thank Laura and the other members of Hope that applied for this position. We welcome Laura to the ministry staff team.

Window Cross in Fellowship Hall – It has been brought to our attention during a recent rain storm that this window is leaking. After some careful sealing, the leaking has persisted. In the course of making these repairs, we learned that the wood frame is rotten and will need to be replaced along with the glass. You may or may not have noticed that one of these panes is cracked on the inside of the Fellowship Hall. We will be replacing the windows and frame. If you would like to contribute to this unexpected expense, simply make out a check to Hope and place in a designated envelope marked “window.”

Debbie Jurchen is going to research the cost to install a stained glass treatment on this replacement window. Based on the cost, we make that a part of the new window. We will let you know, should you have a desire to help with this project.

Parking Lot Repairs – We are still working on and planning to do some construction on the parking lot in 2010. Although several contractors have been contacted, not all have shown a strong interest in looking at this project. We are hoping to hear back from a contractor in the next few weeks. We will keep you posted.

I hope this short ministry update finds each of you well. I pray that as the summer months arrive, you will intentionally spend time with your Lord in devotion and prayer each and every day. Whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Colossians 3:17

In His service,

Rich
