Hope's Family Values Statement
To honor God’s FAMILY, we value:
Faith and Worship: God has justified us by grace through faith in the risen and living Christ. As part of the Family of God, we value spiritually nurturing our faith through joyful Christ-centered worship. In our worship celebration, we believe the Bible as God’s truth; we receive God’s grace and power from His holy sacraments; we praise Him through our hymns, songs, & spoken words.
Acceptance: We accept and value each life as a unique person that God has created and redeemed and that He loves.
Ministry: We value spiritually nurturing families and marriages through Christian education programs and fellowship activities for all ages. We encourage personal spiritual growth in our homes by promoting daily devotion and personal prayer time.
Intentional Missions: We value the spiritual gifts God has given each person to be a partner in His global and local mission of "Loving People to Christ".
Loving Responses: We value the gifts of time, talents and treasure that God has given us. As stewards of these gifts, we give back a portion of these gifts to God as a thank offering, and we share them to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of others.
Yielding to God’s Will: We value our connection to God through prayer in which we call upon His power to guide and sustain us.
